Weredogs

In Weredogs, humankind’s best friends aspire to help humanity fight the man, and in that they become almost human. 

A weredog is a riot dog by day, accompanying, protecting, and fighting alongside protesters, rioters, insurgents, against brutality, repression, persecution.

In the dark, they shapeshift, assuming a hybrid cynanthrope form, more capable, more intelligent, and also more violent; and they hunt and kill. And they will do so for as long as their bodies and spirits endure.

In Weredogs, the player characters will try to inspire, protect, and avenge common people in their fight against the powerful and their repressive forces.

Weredogs is an antifascist game, inspired by riot dogs, like Negro Matapacos in Chile and Loukanikos in Greece; by Werewolf: The Apocalypse; and (at first, unconsciously), by Paulo Freire’s Pedagogy of the oppressed.
